About change of the laws concerning land reclamation

Accepted by the House of Representatives on September 15, 2026

Approved by Council of the Republic on October 7, 2026

Article 1. Bring in the Law of the Republic of Belarus of July 23, 2008 No. 423-Z "About land reclamation" the following changes:

1. To add Article 1 part one after paragraph one with the paragraph of the following content:

"agrotechnical works - system of acceptances of cultivation of agricultural plants which purposes are creating favorable conditions for their growth and development, non-admission of deterioration in the water, air, thermal and nutritious modes of soils;".

2. In Article 2:

after part four to add Article with part of the following content:

"The relations arising when holding meliorative actions and using of the reclaimed lands in borders of peat bogs are regulated by this Law and other acts of the legislation on land reclamation if other is not stipulated by the legislation about protection and use of peat bogs.";

in part six:

words", not settled by this Law," to exclude;

add part with words "if other is not established by this Law and other acts of the legislation on land reclamation".

3. Add Article 6 with part of the following content:

"Features of legal regulation of the relations regulated by this Law can be established by the president of the Republic of Belarus.".

4. To exclude the paragraph of the sixth Article 7.

5. In Article 8 part one:

the seventh and tenth to exclude paragraphs;

after the paragraph of the twelfth to add part with the paragraph of the following content:

"establishes together with National academy of Sciences of Belarus requirements for preserving and rational use of peat and marsh soils of farmlands, and also procedure of payments by determination of efficiency of implementation of investments into objects of land reclamation;".

6. The fourth to state the paragraph to part two of Article 9 in the following edition:
