Regulations on rank of the Hero of Turkmenistan (new edition)

1. The rank of the Hero of Turkmenistan is the highest degree of difference and is appropriated only to citizens of Turkmenistan for especially outstanding merits before the state and society.

The rank of the Hero of Turkmenistan can be in exceptional cases again given to the citizens who made huge personal deposit to strengthening of sovereignty, the constitutional system and statehood of Turkmenistan.

2. The rank of the Hero of Turkmenistan is given by the President of Turkmenistan.

Assignment of rank of the Hero of Turkmenistan to the President of Turkmenistan is made by Majlis of Turkmenistan.

3. The hero of Turkmenistan is handed sign of special difference - the gold sign "Three-copecks Piece of Ai" and the certificate.
