The governments of the State Parties of this agreement which are hereinafter referred to as - "State Parties",

being guided by regulations of the Agreement between gosudarstvamiuchastnik of the Commonwealth of Independent States on joint activities for research and use of space of December 30, 1991, Agreements on procedure for content and use of objects of space infrastructure for the benefit of accomplishment of space programs of May 15, 1992,

recognizing need of combination of efforts for forming and accomplishment of interstate programs of research and use of space for the benefit of the State Parties of the Commonwealth,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

Financing of joint activities for research and use of space is performed according to the interstate programs of research and use of space approved by Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth (further - interstate space programs) which can include the solution of the following target tasks:

space communication and television;

remote sensing of Earth for the solution of tasks of environmental management and ecology;

meteorologies;

the piloted flights and international cooperation on their basis;

scientific research of near-earth space and planets;

space technology and medicine;

geodesy and cartography;

navigation and ensuring rescuing in extreme situations;

defense capability and collective security;

creations of backlogs and development of scientific and technical potential.

Article 2

The solution of 1 tasks specified in Article is performed in the way:

accomplishment of research and development works;

the organizations of content and development of unique experimental base for working off of the missile and space equipment;
