1. Approve "The general provision of the national natural and biospheric parks of the Azerbaijan Republic" and "The general provision of national parks of the Azerbaijan Republic" (are applied).

2. This Decree becomes effective from the date of signing.

General provision of the national natural and biospheric parks of the Azerbaijan Republic

1. General provisions

1.1. The national natural parks - the territories having the status nature protection and research establishments created for the purpose of preserving in natural state of typical and unique natural complexes and objects, studying of the course of natural processes and the phenomena.

1.2. The status of the national natural biospheric parks which enter the international system of biospheric wildlife reserves is provided to the national natural parks functioning for implementation of global environmental monitoring or reorganized.

1.3. The parcels of land which are taken away for the organization of the national natural and biospheric parks based on the Law of the Azerbaijan Republic "About especially protected natural territories and objects" are transferred to their permanent use.
