General provisions
1. These Rules determine the main requirements to retail trade by jewelry and other products from precious metals, gemstones, gemstones of organogenic education and semiprecious stones (further - jewelry) and extend on all business entities.
2. Retail trade by jewelry is performed through specialized shops, specialized departments (sections) of shops with universal range of goods.
Sale of jewelry in small retail retail chain stores, in the markets (except the specialized shops placed on them, departments) and from hands is forbidden.
3. Trade rooms shall be equipped with special trade and technological equipment and trade stock which provide necessary conditions for storage, preparation for sale, demonstrations and sales of jewelry, and also shall be equipped with the security and fire-proof alarm system.
