On regulation of import to the Republic of Uzbekistan and export from its territory of ecologically dangerous products and waste
According to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of October 20, 1999 No. 469 "About the action program on environmental protection of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 1999-2005" and for the purpose of prevention of import, export and transit through the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan of dangerous wastes, potentially toxic and strong toxic agents, and also for ensuring integration of national economy into the world market due to creation of system of ecological certification the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Approve:
the product range and the waste which is subject to obligatory ecological certification according to appendix No. 1;
Procedure for carrying out ecological certification of products made in the Republic of Uzbekistan and regulations of import and export from its territory of ecologically dangerous products and waste according to appendix No. 2.
2. To the state committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on conservation in 2-month time:
develop the list of the indicators and regulations determining ecological danger of products;
together with the interested ministries and departments to prepare and approve in accordance with the established procedure documents on interaction during the importing, transit and export from the territory of the republic of ecologically dangerous products and waste.
3. To departments, in accordance with the established procedure, to carry out by the ministries work on entering into regulating documents on products of requirements to ecological safety taking into account the regulations determined by the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on conservation.
4. To the Uzstandart agency to perform registration of regulating documents for ecologically dangerous products in coordination with the State committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on ecology and environmental protection.
5. To impose control over the implementation of this resolution on the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Hamidov B. S.
