I. General provisions

1. Currency exchange transactions with cash foreign currency perform the authorized banks and other authorized non-bank financial organizations having the License of National Bank of Tajikistan for the right of making of banking activities in foreign currency (further in the text of this Instruction - banks);

Currency exchange transactions with physical persons (residents and nonresidents) are performed only in exchange points of the banks opened and functioning according to the procedure, determined by this Instruction.

2. Implementation of currency exchange transactions without License of National Bank of Tajikistan is violation of the law of the Republic of Tajikistan "About currency control and currency exchange control" and attracts responsibility according to the legislation of the republic.
