Chapter 1. General provisions

1. The instruction about procedure for carrying out transactions with use of checks from checkbooks and settlement checks (further - the Instruction) regulates procedure in the territory of the Republic of Belarus:

payments in Belarusian rubles for goods (works, services) legal entities, their separate divisions allocated for separate balance, individual entrepreneurs (daleeyuridichesky persons), physical persons by means of checks from checkbooks and also physical persons by means of settlement checks;

obtaining by the settlement check physical persons of cash in Belarusian rubles in bank of the issuer or in banks with which the bank of the issuer signed the relevant agreements.

2. In relation to this Instruction the terms below and determinations are used in the following values:

bank - bank and (or) the non-bank credit and financial organization which are residents of the Republic of Belarus, including National Bank of the Republic of Belarus;
