To council for the purpose of development of book publishing and increase in efficiency of industry to continue work on realization of provisions of the Agreement, and also to promote creation of the most favorable conditions for exchange and distribution of the printed materials made in the Commonwealth of Independent States, to strengthening of ties between booksellers, publishers and printers, to development of common information space in the field of book publishing and book trading, to forming of the single market of publishing, printing, trade services in the territories of the State Parties of the CIS.
