About tourism
This Law determines legal, economic, social and organizational basis, and also procedure of tourist activities in the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In this Law the following basic concepts are used:
- tourism - occupation type which realizes system of the organization of carrying out rest with the improving, fact-finding purpose, for the purpose of pilgrimage (except for hajj), commercial, sports, professional and office and other purposes by means of travel (tour) and temporary stay outside the residence;
- tourism internal - the organization of travel within the Republic of Tajikistan for persons who are constantly living in the Republic of Tajikistan;
- outbound tourism - the organization of travel for persons who are constantly living in the Republic of Tajikistan to other country;
- tourism entrance - the organization of travel within the Republic of Tajikistan for persons who are not living constantly in the Republic of Tajikistan;
- tourism social - the travel subsidized from the funds allocated by the state for social needs;
- tourism amateur - the travel with use of active methods of movement organized by tourists independently;
- mountain and sports tourism - the active type of rest connected with the organization of walking routes in mountain conditions;
- mountaineering - the extreme type of tourism connected with ascension on mountain tops;
- the tourist - the citizen, the consumer of tourist services staying outside the permanent residence in the country (place) of temporary stay in improving, cognitive, religious (except pilgrimage), the commercial, sports, professional and business and other purposes connected with tour;
