About introduction of brands of the excise duty of new sample for alcoholic beverages and tobacco products

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decides:

1. Enter since August 1, 2008 brands of the excise duty of new sample for alcoholic beverages depending on the amount of the excise duty paid for unit of the marked products, and brand of the excise duty of new sample for tobacco products.

3. State Tax Administration to stop sale of brands of the excise duty of the previous sample (daleemarka of the previous sample) since August 1, 2008.

Determine that the purchased brands of the previous sample are applied in production of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products before their complete use during the period till September 1, 2008, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco products handle such brands before complete realization within expiration date for consumption.

Import (import, transfer) of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products with brands of the previous sample is allowed in case such brands were acquired till August 1, 2008 in the procedure established by the legislation, and alcoholic beverages and tobacco products handle such brands before complete realization within the term of suitability for consumption.

4. To the Ministry of Finance together with State Tax Administration, Security service, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Justice to develop also tax till March 20, 2008. To the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine samples of new brands of the excise duty for alcoholic beverages.

5. Provide to State Tax Administration:

carrying out inventory count as of September 1, 2008 remaining balance of unused brands of the previous sample at sellers of brands, at the companies - producers and at importers of alcoholic beverages and tobacco products;
