Article 1. Right of citizens to freedom of assembly, meetings, demonstrations and street processions

The state guarantees the right of citizens to the organization and holding actions and participation in them in the way: non-paid provision to citizens and their associations of streets, areas, parks, squares, other open spaces; distribution of information by state bodies of seal, television, radio and other audiovisual means; assistance in organized holding actions from public authorities and officials.

Events are held for the purpose of expression of collective opinion of citizens on different questions of public and state life, attraction to these questions of attention of citizens, state bodies, public organizations or presentations to the specified bodies and the organizations of certain requirements, and also for protection or support of any socially important initiative.
