Provision about Gengesha for religions in case of the President of Turkmenistan

1. Gengesha for religions in case of the President of Turkmenistan (is referred to as Gengesha) is to the state expert and consultative bodies concerning religions.

2. Gengesha in the activities is guided by the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the laws of Turkmenistan and other acts of Majlis of Turkmenistan, acts of the President of Turkmenistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, and also this Provision.

3. The main objectives of Gengesha are:

creation and providing conditions for execution of all faiths by the religious organizations, officials and citizens of the legislation of Turkmenistan directed to regulation of the relations in the field of religions;

4. Gengesha according to the tasks assigned to him performs the following functions:

represents the interests of the religious organizations of all faiths registered in accordance with the established procedure in relevant organs of justice of Turkmenistan in state bodies;
