Regulations on Association of the food industry

1. The association of the food industry (the Association is referred to as) is state body the companies of the food and meat-and-milk industry, and also other companies and the organizations which are part of Association.

The companies and the organizations which are part of Association have rights of the legal entity and keep economic independence.

2. The association submits directly to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and performs the activities according to the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the laws of Turkmenistan, acts of the President of Turkmenistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, other regulatory legal acts and this Provision.

3. The main objectives of Association are:

development and realization of the main directions of development of industries of the food and meat-and-milk industry;

providing population of the country with meat-and-milk, confectionery, fat-and-oil, beer and soft drinks and wineproducing products;

saturation of the consumer market self-produced food;

effective use of potential production, labor, material and financial resources;

implementation in production of the new equipment and the technologies providing production, conforming to the international standards;

protection of state interests and safety of the country in providing with the food entering the nomenclature of Association;

determination of the priority directions of investment policy and forecasting of perspectives of development of industries of the food and meat-and-milk industry;

production of high-quality food products and providing gain in productivity of work;
