About creation of the State sanitary and epidemiologic inspection of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan

1. Create the State sanitary and epidemiologic inspection of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan based on the relevant departments of central office and subordinated organizations of the Ministry.

2. Assign implementation of measures for ensuring sanitary and epidemic wellbeing of the population, carrying out hygienic certification of products and implementation of the state sanitary and epidemiological surveillance to the State sanitary and epidemiologic inspection of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.

3. Determine that financing of activities of the State sanitary and epidemiologic inspection of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and its subordinated organizations is performed by the specified Ministry due to assignments from the Centralized budget of Turkmenistan.

4. Enter hygienic certification of products potentially hazardous to health of the person since May 1, 1998.

5. Approve enclosed:

Regulations on the State sanitary and epidemiologic inspection of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the list of the organizations which are its part;

Regulations on hygienic certification of products in Turkmenistan and the list of types of products, subjects of hygienic certification.
