About creation of the International medical center in Ashgabat

For the purpose of improvement of quality of medical attendance of citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign states on the basis of use of the latest medical equipment and technologies meeting international standards I decide:

1. Create the International medical center based on the cardiological clinic built in Ashgabat.

The specified Center operates on conditions of complete cost accounting and renders medical services to citizens of Turkmenistan and foreign citizens on paid basis.

2. Determine what within one and a half years, before complete transition of the International medical center in Ashgabat on cost accounting, financing of the expenses of the Center connected with medical attendance of citizens of Turkmenistan is performed from the Centralized budget of Turkmenistan within the assignments and salary fund provided for 1998-1999 to the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan in the amount of 50 percent from actual costs.

3. Permit the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan to sign the contract with "Siemens Hsals Servises Gmbh" (Germany) for management of the International medical center in Ashgabat for a period of one and a half years, with registration in accordance with the established procedure.

Determine that payment of cost of the contract is performed at the expense of means of the State fund of development of health care of Turkmenistan.

4. Establish to the International medical center in limiting Ashgabat the number of workers in number of 223 units due to the reduced number of staff of employees of medical institutions of the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan.

5. Approve the enclosed Regulations on the International medical center in Ashgabat.

6. To the Ministry of Health and the Medical Industry of Turkmenistan:

approve structure and the staff list of the International medical center in Ashgabat;

together with the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan to develop and approve the price list of the prices of the paid medical services rendered by the Center;
