Regulations on the Ministry of the textile industry of Turkmenistan

1. The ministry of the textile industry of Turkmenistan (which is hereinafter referred to as by the Ministry), is the state body providing coordination of activities of the companies of the textile, tanning and shoe, silk and sewing industries, other companies and organizations which are part of the Ministry.

The companies and the organizations which are part of the Ministry have rights of the legal entity and keep economic independence.

2. The ministry submits to the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and performs the activities according to the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the laws of Turkmenistan, acts of the President of Turkmenistan, resolutions of Majlis of Turkmenistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and this Provision.

3. The main objectives of the Ministry are:

production, growth in volumes of its production on the basis of demand, improvement of quality and expansion of the range;

the coordination of productive activity of jurisdictional enterprises aimed at the development of all industries;

realization of the made products in the external and internal markets;

implementation of actions for studying and forming of the markets, development of foreign economic relations and marketing;

carrying out single technical policy in industries;

control of use of production capacities at jurisdictional enterprises;

financial provision of industries;

organization of system of training of highly qualified personnel.

4. According to the tasks assigned to it the Ministry performs the following functions:
