Regulations on military commissariats of welayats, Ashgabat, etraps and cities

Chapter I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1. This Provision determines tasks, functions and powers of military commissariats of welayats, Ashgabat, etraps and cities.

2. Military commissariats of welayats, Ashgabat, etraps and cities are local authorities of military management of the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan and submit to it. They are created by the Ministry of Defence of Turkmenistan according to the existing administrative-territorial division of Turkmenistan.

3. Military commissariats perform the activities on the basis of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, the laws of Turkmenistan, acts of the President of Turkmenistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, resolutions of hyakim and orders of the Minister of Defence of Turkmenistan.

4. Management of activities of military commissariats is performed of the General Staff of Armed Forces of Turkmenistan.

Mobilization and accounting - draft work of military commissariats will be organized and controlled also by local executive bodies according to their competence established by the legislation of Turkmenistan.

5.
