Grant in the Republic of Moldova four licenses to use of radio frequencies or radio channels and resources of numbering for the purpose of delivery of networks and services of mobile cellular communication of the third generation (3G) in the IMT 2000 system with observance of the UMTS (W-CDMA) and CDMA 2000 standards.

The existing operators of cellular mobile telephony of the GSM and CDMA standards can receive till May 31, 2009, without announcement of tender, on one use of radio frequencies or radio channels and resources of numbering for the purpose of delivery of networks and services of mobile cellular communication of the third generation (3G) with effective period of 15 years and with the right of its renewal upon the demand of owners according to the legislation.
