in view of provisions of the Concept of the hydrometeorological safety of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States approved by the Decision of Council of CIS Heads of Government of April 16, 2004

for the purpose of development of cooperation in training, advanced training and retraining of specialists in the field of hydrometeorology,

understanding that crucial element of effective work of national hydrometeorological services of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States (further - NGMS) are properly the prepared personnel,

considering financial opportunities of NGMS, availability of the organizations providing educational services, providing training, advanced training and retraining of specialists in the field of hydrometeorology agreed as follows:

Article 1

The parties help cooperation in the following directions:

training, advanced training and retraining of specialists in the field of hydrometeorology;

exchange of modern educational and methodical and research materials, curricula and programs;

use of opportunities during the training, advanced training and retraining of the specialists in the field of hydrometeorology offered by regional meteorological training centers of the World Meteorological Organization, and also the organizations providing educational services and providing training, advanced training and retraining of specialists of the State Parties of the CIS.

Article 2

Each Party according to the national legal system promotes provision to citizens of the states of other Parties of possibility of education, advanced training and retraining in the field of hydrometeorology.
