1. Assign to National institute of the state statistics and information of Turkmenistan implementation of state policy in the field of statistics and information, development of scientific bases of national programs of economic development of Turkmenistan, determination of the main directions of the economic transformations performed in the country, enhancement of industry structure of economy, development of economic scientific forecasts, methodical recommendations and suggestions for improvement of work of the financial and taxation systems, pricing and social protection of the population.

2. Approve Regulations on National institute of the state statistics and information of Turkmenistan it (is applied).

3. To provide to national institute of the state statistics and information of Turkmenistan quarterly development of calculations of gross domestic product for welayats and Ashgabat with participation of the Ministry of Economics and finance of Turkmenistan, the Central bank of Turkmenistan, the Main state tax authorities of Turkmenistan and the State customs of Turkmenistan.

4. Permit National institute of the state statistics and information of Turkmenistan to have 2 deputy directors, including the one first deputy.

5. Determine that the director of National institute of the state statistics and information of Turkmenistan and its deputies are appointed to position and are dismissed by the President of Turkmenistan.

6. Create in welayats and Ashgabat territorial administrations of statistics and information, and in the etrapsky and city centers - departments of statistics and information.
