For the purpose of assistance to further development and active participation in realization in the country of democratic transformations and liberalization of society of independent non-state non-profit organizations and institutes of civil society, creation of independent system and objective conditions for forming of sources of their financing Kengash of Legislative house of Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan decide:

1. Accept the offer of Committee on democratic institutes, the non-state organizations and self-government institutions of citizens of Legislative house on creation under Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan of Public Fund for support of non-state non-profit organizations and other institutes of civil society (further - Fund), and also the Parliamentary commission on management of fund.

2. Determine that:

The fund and the Parliamentary commission are created according to the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About Public funds", "About non-state non-profit organizations", "About guarantees of activities of non-state non-profit organizations" for the purpose of the organization of distribution of the funds allocated from the Government budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for support of activities of the non-state non-profit organizations (NSNPO) and other institutes of civil society, forming and program implementation of material, financial support of NNO;

fund is allocated directly to NNO and other institutes of civil society in the form of subsidies, grants, the social order on the basis of their requests and according to decisions of the Parliamentary commission;
