For the first time in practice of legal regulation of work in Turkmenistan the service record contains data not only on labor activity in the state, private, overseas, joint businesses, organizations, the organizations and encouragement, but also characterizes marital status of the person, amount of its rights in questions of medical attendance and provision of pensions.

Considering the increased importance of the service record in human life both in the period of its labor activity, and after leaving on deserved rest, and also in pursuance of the resolution of the President of Turkmenistan of November 27, 2000 "About service records of the working citizens of Turkmenistan" I decide No. 4970:

1. Determine that the service record is handed to the worker or the employee in a festive atmosphere on works meeting of the state, private, overseas or joint business, organization, organization.

2. Determine that service records are kept on individual entrepreneurs without formation of legal entity and on the workers hired by them.

Service records and inserts to them are issued to individual entrepreneurs by police stations of etraps and cities.
