The National Bank of Tajikistan establishes the somoni official exchange rate to freely-convertible foreign currencies, and also to currencies of the countries which are the main external economic partners of the Republic of Tajikistan (Appendix 1), daily except days off and holidays. The somoni official exchange rate to foreign currencies established affects the first day off or holiday during these days, and also during the first working day after output (festive) days. These rates become effective the next calendar day and are effective on date of their following establishment.

2. The somoni official exchange rate to US dollar the next day is determined proceeding from average value of the weighted average rates of the bargains of purchase and sale of US dollar concluded on interbank (between banks) and intra bank (between banks and their clients) the markets by 15:00 o'clock of the present day.
