About approval of the Regulations on procedure of transactions with checks in foreign currency in the territory of Ukraine

According to the Laws of Ukraine "About the National Bank of Ukraine", "About banks and banking activity", and also for the purpose of establishment of single rules and procedure for carrying out by authorized banks and financial institutions of transactions with checks in foreign currency in the territory of Ukraine the Board of the National Bank of Ukraine DECIDES:

1. Approve Regulations on procedure of transactions with checks in foreign currency in the territory of Ukraine it (is applied).

2. To department of payment systems (V. M. Kravets) after state registration to bring this resolution to territorial administrations of the National Bank of Ukraine and commercial banks for use in work.

3. Oblige organizations of banks to bring contents of this resolution to permission of the clients.

4. To impose control of execution of this resolution on heads of territorial administrations of the National Bank of Ukraine.

5. Charge to Department of payment systems (V. M. Kravets), to Legal department (V. V. Pasichnik), to Department of currency control (S. O. Yaremenko), Department of currency exchange control and licensing (S. O. Bragin) to consider question concerning feasibility of use of order cheques and eurocheques in the territory of Ukraine and to prepare the corresponding amendments to this Provision.

6. The resolution becomes effective in 3 months after state registration in the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine.
