Chapter 1. General provisions

1. The instruction about procedure for the organization of work on provision of pensions of faces of the commanding and ordinary structure of bodies and divisions for emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus and members of their families (further - the Instruction) is developed based on the Law of the Republic of Belarus of December 17, 1992 "About provision of pensions of the military personnel, faces of the commanding and ordinary structure of law-enforcement bodies, bodies and divisions for emergency situations and bodies of financial investigations" (Vedamasts? 2. This Instruction determines procedure for the organization of work to destination and pension payment, benefits and compensations:

to faces of the commanding and ordinary structure of bodies and divisions for emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus (further - faces of the commanding and ordinary structure, workers);

to the persons dealing by day of dismissal from service with problems of the prevention and liquidation of emergency situations in the states with which the international agreements on mutual social security of this category of persons are signed, and having the right to provision of pensions according to the pension legislation of the Republic of Belarus in case of their moving on the permanent residence to the Republic of Belarus;

to the faces of the commanding and ordinary structure consisting in personnel of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus (further the Ministry of Emergency Situations) and affiliated for work in state bodies and other organizations, and also elected deputies of the House of Representatives of National assembly of the Republic of Belarus, local councils of deputies, chosen or appointed members of council of the Republic and performing powers on professional basis;

to members of families of the above-named faces of the commanding and ordinary structure, and also members of families of pensioners from among these persons.

Provision of pensions of faces of the commanding and ordinary structure, and also pensioners from their number who are in places of detention is performed according to the procedure, provided by the Instruction about payment procedure of pensions to the pensioners of the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, Committee for State Security of the Republic of Belarus who are in places of detention, the Republic of Belarus approved by the resolution of the Ministry of Defence, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus and Committee for State Security of the Republic of Belarus of November 2, 2004 No. 66/242/37/34 (The national register of legal acts of the Republic of Belarus, 2004, No. 180, 8/11694).

3. Work on implementation of provision of pensions of faces of the commanding and ordinary structure is carried out by the relevant financial services:
