About Regulations on the identity certificate of the seaman, Regulations on the seaworthy book, sample and the description of the form of the seaworthy book

For the purpose of realization of provisions of the Convention reviewing the Convention of 1958 on identity certificates of seamen (The convention N 185) ratified by the Federal Law "About Ratification of the Convention Reviewing the Convention of 1958 on Identity Certificates of Seamen (the Convention N 185)", the Government of the Russian Federation decides:

1. Approve enclosed:

Regulations on the identity certificate of the seaman;

Regulations on the seaworthy book;

sample of the form of the seaworthy book;

description of the form of the seaworthy book.

2. Determine that in case of certification of the identity of the seaman instead of the passport of the seaman the last is cancelled according to the procedure, established by the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. The cancelled passport of the seaman returns to storage to its owner.

3. To the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for Fishery, Federal Migration Service and Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation to approve the instruction about procedure for application of the Regulations on the identity certificate of the seaman.

4. Determine that the Federal Agency for Sea and Inland Water Transport provides accomplishment of the obligations following from participation of the Russian Federation in the Convention reviewing the Convention of 1958 on identity certificates of seamen (the Convention N 185).

5. Provide to Federal Agency for Sea and Inland Water Transport:
