About enhancement of procedure for acceptance and training of foreign citizens in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan
For the purpose of enhancement of system of acceptance and training of foreign citizens in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also accomplishment of international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of science and education the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Determine that:
acceptance of foreign citizens in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan is performed based on international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and also collective and individual agreements and contracts (including with the foreign citizens who arrived to the republic according to the valid visas irrespective of the purposes of their arrival) which pass preliminary expert examination and registration according to the procedure, established by the Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education and the Ministry of national education of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
the organization, educational and methodical management and coordination of all works on acceptance and training of foreign citizens is performed at comprehensive schools - the Ministry of national education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in other educational institutions - the Ministry of the higher and secondary vocational education of the Republic of Uzbekistan;
foreign citizens are accepted in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan on paid and contractual basis and according to the procedure, established for citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan if other is not stipulated by the legislation or international treaties of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
2. Approve Regulations on procedure for acceptance and training of foreign citizens in educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan according to appendix.
