Regulations on procedure of pardon of persons condemned kazyetam of Turkmenistan

1. According to the Constitution of Turkmenistan pardon of citizens is performed by the President of Turkmenistan.

2. The president of Turkmenistan considers:

a) materials concerning persons condemned to imprisonment and softer measures of punishment;

b) materials concerning the persons condemned to imprisonment and softer measures of punishment by courts of other states and serving sentence in Turkmenistan;

c) statements of persons who served sentence for release from compensation of the material damage collected on sentences of kazyet, and also according to the solutions of kazyet following from criminal case for benefit of the state or the state companies, organizations and the organizations;

d) statements of persons who served sentence for release from payment of the amounts of unreasonable enrichment collected on sentences of kazyet for benefit of the state.

3. Pardon of convicts is performed in type:

full or partial relief from serving as the main, and additional punishment;
