About temporary measures of the state support of socially vulnerable segments of the population in connection with rise in food prices

For the purpose of rendering additional state social support to needy segments of the population in the conditions of rise in food prices I decide:

1. Establish since October 1, 2008 temporary monthly compensation payments to the public welfare payments granted according to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About public welfare payments in the Kyrgyz Republic".

2. To the government of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- establish the amount of the temporary monthly compensation payments provided by this Decree along with payment of public welfare payments for the corresponding month;

- dig up resources for ensuring issue of monthly compensation payments;

- resolve the financial, organizational and other matters following from this Decree.

3. To impose control of execution of this Decree on department of economic and social policy of Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.

4. This Decree becomes effective from the date of publication.
