About approval of Rules of rendering services of mail service

For the purpose of enforcement developed based on the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About mail service" as the obligatory regulating document of "Rules of rendering services of mail service", and also for streamlining of relations between the operators, providers of mail service rendering services to mail service public, and users of these services and determinations of procedure for rendering services of mail service I order:

1. Approve developed by the "Rules of Rendering Services of Mail Service" Agency according to appendix it (is applied).

2. To provide department of mail service of the Agency (T. Bazhanov) in accordance with the established procedure state registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan of Rules of rendering the services of mail service approved by the Agency.

3. Determine that these rules will be enacted in 10 days after state registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

4. Determine that operators, providers of mail service rendering services to mail service public and users of these services shall observe requirements of these rules.

5. To impose control of execution of this order on the First Deputy CEO of the Agency M. Makhmudov.

Rules of rendering services of mail service

1. General provisions

1. These rules, are developed on the basis of acts of Universal Postal Union, the Laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About communication", "About mail service", "About consumer protection", "About addresses of citizens", resolutions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan of September 23, 2002 N 328 "About enhancement of the organization of management in the field of communication and informatization", govern the relations between the operators, providers of mail service rendering services to mail service public (further - services of mail service), and users of these services (further - users) and determine procedure for rendering services of mail service, the right and obligation of operators, providers of mail service and users.

2. Action of these rules extends to operators and providers of mail service who according to the legislation provide services to mail service, and users of these services.

3. In these rules the following basic concepts are applied:

subscription box - box with means for prevention of unauthorized access which is established in objects of mail service and is leased by the addressee for certain term for obtaining on his name of ordinary written mail, periodic printing editions, notices on receipt of the registered mailings, postal money transfers;

local departure of express mail - the internal departure of express mail accepted for transfer and delivery (delivery) to the addressee within one city, the district center or the settlement of city type, and in the rural zone - within the territory serviced by one object of mail service;
