1. Approve Regulations on order of registration and uses of domain names in the UZ domain according to appendix.

2. This order becomes effective after ten days from the moment of its state registration in the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Regulations on order of registration and uses of domain names in the UZ domain

This document establishes rules of registration and use of domain names in the UZ domain according to article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "About telecommunications", and also regulates relations of persons which activities are connected with registration and use of domain names in the UZ domain, in particular the administrator of the UZ domain, the registrar of domain names in the UZ domain, the administrator of domain name and persons offering the goods, works and services, using domain names in the UZ domain.

1. General provisions

1.1. In the UZ domain the distributed system of registration is applied for:

decentralization of provision of services of registration;

introductions of competitive environment;

improvements of quality of the provided services;
