The government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan which below are referred to as with the Parties

confirming commitment of the Parties to strengthening of the international non-proliferation regime of nuclear weapon and its basis - the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty of July 1, 1968,

considering accession of the Republic of Kazakhstan to this Agreement as the state which does not have nuclear weapon

being guided by the Treaty of friendship, cooperation and mutual aid between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan of May 25, 1992, the Contract on military cooperation between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan of March 28, 1994, the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the strategic nuclear forces which are temporarily placed in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of March 28, 1994,

considering obligations of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan under the Contract between the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics and the United States of America on reducing and restriction of strategic offensive arms of July 31, 1991 and to the related documents,

in view of contribution of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan to industrial and technological development, and also testing of nuclear ammunition of strategic offensive arms,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purposes of this agreement the stated below terms have the following value:

1. "Nuclear ammunition" - nuclear military unit of the intercontinental ballistic missile or cruise missile of air basing from structure of the strategic nuclear forces which are temporarily located in the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
