The description of medal of the Azerbaijan Republic "For the Homeland"

The medal "For the Homeland" consists of the roundish plate with a diameter of 36 mm cast from bronze and decorated on contour.

In the center of medal the State Emblem of the Azerbaijan Republic, and under it - images of two crossed sabers is placed. Over the Coat of arms on contour the words "For the Homeland" are written. Text and images convex.

Back surface smooth, series and number of medal are in the middle beaten out.

The medal unites by means of hook and loop with the rectangular moire tape of 37 mm x 50 mm in size having element for fixture to clothes. In the center of moire tape of dark and oak color three strips are represented. All three strips of light-oak color, strip 15 mm wide it is located in the center, 3 mm wide at distance of 2 mm from the strip located in the center along its edges. To the upper part of moire tape the plate of golden color of 40 mm x 5 mm in size, to the lower part golden plate with national ornament, to the lower part plate of golden color of 40 mm x 7 mm in size fastens.
