1. The medal of the Azerbaijan Republic "For military merits" awards the military personnel of the Azerbaijan Republic:
for difference in case of execution of the service duties and the tasks set for military unit;
for merits in protection of frontiers.
2. The medal "For Military Merits" is worn on the left side of breast and in the presence of other awards and medals of the Azerbaijan Republic is located after the medal "Progress".

The medal "For Military Merits" consists of the round plate similar to board, with a diameter of 36 mm, cast from brass together with narrow plate, together with the roundish silvery ornament and the consecrated beams rising from the center.
