recognizing importance of deepening mutually advantageous long-term economic both sci-tech cooperation and interest of the Parties in further increase in efficiency of use and development of energy potential,

considering need of creation of conditions for realization of benefits of joint operation of electric utility systems of the Parties and cost efficiency of single energy space,

in view of positive experience of partnership between the Parties in the field of power,

agreed as follows.

Article 1

The parties intend to perform mutually beneficial long-term economic cooperation and collateral actions in the field of power industry including on questions:

productions, transfers and distributions of electrical energy and capacity,

developments of single transportation power networks, scientific research, designings, upgrades, modernization and reconstruction operating and construction of new energy objects, forming of single normative and technical and technological, information space in the field of power industry and electrical power construction,

creations of single emergency inventory of the equipment and spare parts,

training, preparation and retraining of personnel for power,

organizations wholesale and retail markets of electrical energy and capacity,

joint management of the electrical power companies on the basis of equity in stock ownership,

cooperations of energy, machine-building and other enterprises for development of technological base of power, including by creation of financial and industrial groups and other associations.
