The board of Customs committee of the Union notes that fight against crimes and administrative offenses in the customs sphere is subject of permanent attention of heads of Customs Services of Belarus and Russia.

In development of the intergovernmental agreement "About Cooperation and Mutual Assistance in Customs Affairs" of 1994 and the Plan of program implementation of the Union of Belarus and Russia "Fight against different forms of organized crime in the territory of the State Parties of the Union of Belarus and Russia for the period till 2000" measures for further strengthening of cooperation and interaction of structural divisions of Customs Services in the field of fight against smuggling and administrative customs offenses are taken.

At the same time, the legal basis of joint activities of Customs Services of the parties requires further enhancement. Work on standardization of national legal systems in the field of fight against customs offenses, transformations of the model laws is slowly carried out to regulatory legal acts of national legal systems. Need of development of mechanisms of implementation of the reached agreements ripened.

The board of shopping Mall Soyuza decided:

1. Approve "Regulations on interaction of customs authorities of Russia and Belarus in fight against customs offenses" it (is applied).

2. For the purpose of increase in level of information support of joint transactions and operational management by process of fight against customs offenses to develop and implement single system of the operational information exchange including electronic and telefax methods of communication, departmental telephone communication, the encoded communication, mutual use of departmental databases about customs clearance of goods and the acting subjects of managing performing foreign economic activity.
