About fishery development and use of natural and artificial reservoirs in the Kyrgyz Republic

For the purpose of sustainable development of fishery in the republic, creations of the sphere of employment of local population in organized productions of fish farming in natural and artificial reservoirs, the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic decides growths in volumes of production of commodity fish and ensuring accomplishment of the food programme in the republic:

1. Approve enclosed:

- Regulations on procedure for provision in use of natural and artificial reservoirs in the Kyrgyz Republic for the purposes of fish breeding, fishery and fish farming;

- The list of the natural and artificial reservoirs in the Kyrgyz Republic provided for fishery development and use for the purpose of fish breeding, fish farming and fishery.

2. To department of fishery under the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic:

- carry out inventory count of all of the small and not used in fishery natural and artificial reservoirs, lakes, water storage basins, ponds and the rivers, for their fishery development and further use for the purpose of fish breeding, fishery and fish farming;

- provide active development in the republic of cage and farmer commodity fish breeding as one of important factors of employment of the population of the republic;

- take measures for growth in volumes of production of commodity fish, creation in the republic of reproduction and commodity fish-breeding farms in case of large natural and artificial reservoirs, and also the small reservoirs which are not used in fishery;
