considering mutual interest in ensuring defense capability of the states,

being guided by regulations of the Contract between the Russian Federation and the Kyrgyz Republic on cooperation in military area of July 5, 1993,

following the principles of collective security, based on provisions of the Agreement on creation of the integrated air defense system of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of February 10, 1995,

for the purpose of implementation of the Decision of Council of Heads of Government of gosudarstvuchastnik of the Commonwealth of Independent States on assistance in creation and enhancement of the integrated air defense system of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States of November 3, 1995,

agreed as follows:

Article 1

The cooperation in the field of air defense will be performed in the following main directions:

ensuring protection of air borders of the Kyrgyz Republic for the benefit of the integrated air defense system of gosudarstvuchastnik of the Commonwealth of Independent States;

assistance on creation of air defense system of the Kyrgyz Republic;

delivery of arms, ammunition, military equipment, spare parts, technical documentation, documentation on fighting application, educational and auxiliary property;

military provision of services for Troops of air defense of the Kyrgyz Republic;

development and implementation of actions on maintenance in combat readiness of the Troops of air defense of the Kyrgyz Republic of arms and military equipment consisting on arms, to their repair and upgrade;

exchange of information about air situation between the interacting governing bodies of Troops of air defense of the Parties;

carrying out educational and fighting firing practice by parts and divisions of Troops of air defense of the Kyrgyz Republic on polygons of the Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation:
