The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Belarus which further are referred to as with the Parties, being guided by the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Government of the Republic of Belarus on cooperation in the field of culture, science and education of January 17, 1996, in view of article 1 of the Agreement on provision of the equal rights to citizens of the State Parties of the Agreement on deepening of integration in economic and humanitarian areas of March 29, 1996 on receipt in educational institutions from November 24, 1998, aiming at development and strengthening of mutually beneficial relations between two countries, convinced that the cooperation in the field of the higher and postgraduate education promotes deepening of bonds and the best mutual understanding between the people, agreed as follows:

Article 1

For the purpose of development of cooperation in the field of the higher and postgraduate education of the Party help:

to establishment and development of cooperation between the organizations of formation of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Belarus;

to exchange of students, representatives of professorskoprepodavatelsky structure;

to mutual participation of students, scientific and pedagogical employees of the states of both Parties in symposiums, conferences and other forums held in the states of the Parties based on contracts between the interested organizations of formation of the states of the Parties in which their rights, obligations and responsibility are determined;

to exchange of textbooks and other training materials, periodicals, information on different aspects of educational and research activities.

Article 2

The parties annually perform equivalent exchange of students.
