For the purpose of health protection of animals, the prevention of transfer of diseases from animals to the person and according to provisions of the Law No. 221-XVI of October 19, 2007 on veterinary and sanitary activities (The official monitor of the Republic of Moldova, 2008, Art. No. 51-54, 153), with subsequent changes and amendments, DECIDES: the Government

1. Approve:

Veterinary sanitary standard about conditions of health of animals of the pets applied in case of non-commercial movement according to appendix No. 1;

Veterinary sanitary standard about passport sample for pets of types: dogs, cats and domestic polecats according to appendix No. 2.

2. To the national agency on safety of foodstuff to develop:

Specific requirements and sample of the passport which shall accompany pets of the types provided in Items when importing to the territory of the Republic of Moldova and) - c) appendices No. 1 to the Veterinary sanitary standard establishing the conditions of health of animals applied in case of non-commercial movement of the pets intended for movement to other countries;

Technical requirements on identification of pets of the types provided in Items and) - c) appendices No. 1 to the Veterinary sanitary standard establishing the conditions of health of animals applied in case of non-commercial movement of pets.

3. To impose control over the implementation of this Resolution on the National agency on safety of foodstuff.
