About social compensations during the cold period of 2010
The Parliament adopts this organic law.
The purpose of this law is support of needy persons and families during the cold period of year by provision of social compensation.
In this law the following basic concepts are used: social compensation - the sum of money which is monthly paid to needy persons and families in cold season; cold time годапериод between:
- On January 1 and on March 31;
- On November 1 and on December 31.
Operation of this law extends to citizens of the Republic of Moldova, citizens of other states, persons without citizenship, refugees having the permanent residence in the Republic of Moldova according to the legislation.
(1) Social compensation is provided:
a) to the needy families which acquired the right to the social benefit established according to the Law No. 133-XVI of June 13, 2008;
b) to the workers of industries of the budget sphere carried to the I-VII categories of compensation of the Single scale of charges;
c) to receivers of pensions or social benefits in the amount up to 900 lei.
(2) to the Faces relevant to requirements of Items b) and c) parts (1), only one social compensation is provided.
