About questions of movement of cars by physical persons for private use

The government of the Republic of Kazakhstan DECIDES:

1. In case of customs declaring of the cars for private use imported on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, physical persons pay single rates of customs duties, taxes in sizes according to appendix 1 to this resolution.

2. Recognize invalid some decisions of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan according to appendix 2 to this resolution.

3. This resolution becomes effective from the date of the first official publication.

Appendix 1

to the order of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan of July 1, 2010 No. 682

The single rates of customs duties, taxes which are subject to payment by physical persons when importing to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan of cars for private use

1. In case of initial import of cars by physical persons the single rate of customs duties, taxes constitutes:

on cars from the moment of which release there passed more than three, but no more than 10 years:

with effective engine cylinder capacity no more than 1 500 cm3 - 0, 35 euros for 1 cm3 of effective engine cylinder capacity;

with effective engine cylinder capacity more than 1 500 cm 3, but no more than 3 000 cm 3, - 0, 4 euros for 1 cm3 of effective engine cylinder capacity;

with effective engine cylinder capacity more than 3 000 cm3 - 0, 6 euros for 1 cm3 of effective engine cylinder capacity.

2. In case of representation within calendar year to customs declaring of two and more acquired cars for private use, the single rate of customs duties, taxes constitutes:

1) on cars from the moment of which release there passed more than three, but no more than 7 years:

with effective engine cylinder capacity no more than 1 000 cm3 - 0, 85 euros for 1 cm3 of effective engine cylinder capacity;
