Regulations on licensing of arms trade and main parts of firearms

1. This Provision determines procedure for licensing of the trade in civil and office weapon and the main parts of firearms (further - weapon) performed by legal entities.

2. In this Provision arms trade is understood as the type of business activity connected with wholesale and (or) retail trade by weapon.

3. Licensing of arms trade is performed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation (further - the licensing body).

4. The license for arms trade (further - the license) is provided for 5 years. The validity of the license can be extended according to the statement of the licensee according to the procedure, provided for renewal of the document confirming license availability.
