Chapter I. General provisions

Article 2. Bases of state policy in the field of folk art and applied art

The main directions of state policy in the field of folk art and applied art are:

- realization of legislative and organizational measures on the state support of folk art and applied art;

- forming of financial sources for development of folk art and applied art;

- provision of opportunities of use by the companies, organizations and citizens of necessary material and information resources, and also scientific and technical developments and technologies;

- the organization, preparation and advanced training of personnel in this sphere;

- promotion of folk art and applied art, including by means of development of the international exchange and foreign economic activity;

- assistance to development of commercial, scientific and technical, production and information intercourses of the companies, organizations and citizens which are engaged in folk art and applied art;

- the organization of specialized trade in products of folk art and applied art according to the procedure, established by the legislation of Turkmenistan;
