National provision (standard) of financial accounting in public sector 103 "The financial reporting on segments"

I. General provisions

1. This National provision (standard) determines the principles and methodological bases of forming of information on the income, expenses, financial results, assets and liabilities of reporting segments and its disclosure in the financial reporting.

2. Regulations of this National provision (standard) are applied by subjects of financial accounting in public sector (dalshesubjekta of public sector) which constitute consolidated financial statements and/or have territorially separate divisions.

3. Information on reporting segments is provided in form "Appendix to notes to the annual financial reporting "Information on Segments" according to appendix to this National provision (standard) (further - form No. 6-ds).

4. The controlling subjects of public sector submit information on segments on the basis of data of consolidated financial statements of economic group.

5. Terms which are used in national provisions (standards) of financial accounting in public sector have such value:

intraeconomic calculations - calculations which result from economic activities between segments of the subject of public sector;

the geographical area is a separated part of activities of the subject of public sector in certain geographical region which differs from others:

economic and geopolitical conditions of the geographical region;

feature of activities in different geographical regions;

territorial arrangement of divisions or consumers of services (works);

risks of activities, characteristic of the geographical region;

rules of currency exchange control and currency risks in such regions;

reporting segment - segment, information on the income, expenses, financial results which assets and liabilities is subject to separate disclosure in the annual financial reporting of the subject of public sector;
