About qualification board and certification of judges
The parliament adopts this law.
The qualification board is created under the Supreme council of magistracy and aims at ensuring candidate screen on judgeship, capable to perform justice competently, honesty and objectively on the basis of the law, and also determination of the professional training level of effective judges.
(1) the Qualification board is effective in the following structure:
a) two judges of the Highest trial chamber, two judges of appeal chambers and two judges of courts;
b) six regular lecturers in law.
(2) Members of qualification board perform the powers on a voluntary basis with preserving the salary on place of employment.
(The Term of office of qualification board constitutes 3) four years. The member of qualification board can perform the powers no more than two terms in a row.
(1) Members of qualification board from among members of the Highest trial chamber, appeal chambers and courts are elected by open or secret vote at meetings of judges of these degrees of jurisdiction called by the Supreme council of magistracy.
(2) Three members of qualification board from among regular lecturers in law are appointed by the Supreme council of magistracy, and triministry justices.
(3) If person elected the member of qualification board does not hold the position provided by part any more (1) Articles 2, the body which elected him in 45-day time provides election of the new member.
