The governments of the State Parties of this agreement (further the Parties), being guided by the Agreement on carrying out coordinated policy in the field of standardization, metrology and certification of March 13, 1992 and the Agreement on the principles of providing armed forces of the State Parties of the Commonwealth of Independent States with arms, military equipment and other appliances, the organization of research and development works of March 20, 1992,

agreed as follows:

Article 1.

Works on interstate standardization of arms and military equipment (further - VVT) are carried out without damage to national interests of the Parties.

The parties, having complete independence in questions of forming and use of national systems of standardization of VVT and the organization of works in this area:

in coordination resolve legal, economic and organizational issues of standardization of VVT, as on the basis of multilateral, and bilateral agreements, programs and engineering designs;

provide accomplishment jointly of the made decisions in the field of standardization of VVT;

use basic provisions of the operating all-technical systems of standardization and bring them into accord with the international interstate standards and rules.
