1. The public sanitary and epidemiologic service of Ukraine (Gossanepidsluzhba of Ukraine) is the central executive body which activities go and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Vice-Prime Minister of Ukraine - the Minister of Health of Ukraine (further - the Minister).
The Gossanepidsluzhba of Ukraine is a part of the system of executive bodies in industry of health care and is formed for ensuring realization of state policy in the field of sanitary and epidemic wellbeing of the population.
2. The Gossanepidsluzhba of Ukraine in the activities is guided by the Constitution and the laws of Ukraine, acts of the President of Ukraine and the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, orders of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, other acts of the legislation of Ukraine, and also orders of the President of Ukraine and the Minister.
