About measures for streamlining of activities of linear taxi
Within carrying out single technical policy in the field of development of passenger transport, for the purpose of streamlining of activities of linear taxi, improvement of quality and safety of the services in transportation of passengers rendered by them the Cabinet of Ministers decides:
1. Approve and enact since January 1, 2012 Regulations on single signs for linear taxi and requirements to the organization of their work according to appendix No. 1.
2. To the Uzbek agency of road and river transport:
together with JSC Uzavtosanoat, the Uzstandart Agency and the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on installation by the licensed linear taxi of the same counters (taximeters) complying the operating technical requirements and standards in a month;
make on competitive basis selection of legal entities on production (delivery) of counters (taximeters) and identification marks;
together with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan and other interested ministries and departments in two-month time to make in the Cabinet of Ministers offers on establishment of responsibility for implementation of activities for transportation of passengers by the linear taxi which are not equipped with single identification marks of external and interior information design;
together with departments on licensing and coordination of movement of all types of passenger transport under khokimiyats of Tashkent and the Tashkent region to prohibit, since January 1, 2012, issue of licenses for the linear taxi which are not equipped with single identification marks of external and interior information design;
in two weeks together with the interested ministries, departments, Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokimiyats of areas and Tashkent to develop and approve package of measures for practical implementation of requirements and orders of this resolution.
